We offer the opportunity for boys and girls aged 18 months through 18 years to learn gymnastics.

 

Class Descriptions:

 

Parent-Tot (18 mo-3 years old)

Gymnasts will focus on basic motor and perceptual skills. Gymnasts will be introduced to all apparatus. Parents are to accompany as an active participant through the class. (30 minutes)

Beginners 1 (3-5 years old)

Gymnasts will be introduced to all events and encouraged in learning the basics. A focus on form will be experienced. (1 hour)

Beginners 2 (5 – 7 years old)

Gymnasts will be introduced to the fundamental skills of all apparatus. A focus on form will be experienced. (1 hour)

Progressive Advanced (8 and up)

Gymnasts Will already have excellent basics and form which will allow this class to progress in skill advancement more quickly.  Technique and connections will be implemented. (1 1/2 hours)

Run, Jump and Roll (4 - 8 years old)

Introductory class to teach how to run, jump and roll before enrolling into a gymnastics class.  This class will teach motor skills to use on gymnastics equuipment. (45 minutes)

 

Achievers (Special Needs)

Gymnasts will receive more individual attention and class will be adapted for each individual gymnast's needs ( 45 minutes)

Boys Progression ( 7 and up)

Boys will be introduced to tumbling on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar. ( 1 hour 15 min.)

Dance Tumbling (7 and up)

This class is intended for competitive dancers who want to increase their tumbling abilities.  We will focus on cartwheels, aerials, walkovers and handsprings.  Also flexibility of jumps and leaps will be implemented.

Beginner Aerial Silks (7 - 18 years of age)

Aerial acrobats will stregthen, stretch and expand body awareness as well as coordination in a safe, fun and effective manner.

Competitive programs

USAG Program 

By invitation only, the Women’s J.O. and XCEL Program is designed for gymnasts uncommon drive to progress as a competitive athlete. It takes gymnasts through designed and structured progressions intended to give each athlete the opportunity to reach the highest levels in this sport. This is the program has a stronger personal and financial commitment along with stricter requirements.

MAGA

MAGA is designed for girls interested in transitioning from recreational gymnastics classes into a competitive team program.  Less rigorous than the USAG Program with a smaller weekly time and financial commitment, MAGA offers gymnasts the ability to train year ‘round and participate in the world of competitive gymnastics while leaving time for other interests and activities.

What Class to Sign up For Next

 

Our Classes are designed to let your child grow and progress though the stages of gymnastics. It will teach them foundations to progress safely. After each session coaches will fill out a progress report to tell you what class to sign up for in the next session.
